Any tips/tricks on installing the wake booster?

So here's an installation vid. You can see the whole pin in his vid goes all the way until it hits that angled welded tab. Now mine does the exact same. OK so I adjusted it perfectly. Good news! I went back and put the new hose and installed everything. No pics cause I managed to get sealant all over my hands like an idiot. In any event that side of the boat could sink and not take on water anymore from those areas. LOL!

I put my pin in from the center to the outside with no problems. Kind of have to wiggle the booster and the pin this way. My wife and I both can take it on and off this way. Sometime the back of the pin aligns behind that welded support tab, but twisting the booster gets it out. Hope this helps.
