Anyone Know When They Are Set to Announce 2026 Models?

Still no info on how much ballast or what wave looks like. If you release a surf boat Yamaha let us know about the surfing it’s not that complicated
It's a yamaha, whatever the specs are it'll be underwhelming.

Yamaha makes some powerful outboard powerplants, dont know why they cant modify them for the jetboat line. Lightweight and powerful

I wonder if they'll bother to actually tighten all the bolts, seal the through hulls / seams, and clean out the assembly trash on the boats with a $200k price tag. I do like the addition of the extra connext screen that will delaminate right after your warranty expires though.

Edit- the Crosswave does look pretty interesting though. Curious to see someone through a trolling motor on it.

would be nice to hear about the hull design changes to 'handle' bigger water...still looks pretty flat.

Thanks. I have only been out twice this year, hopefully going to get out in the fall. Been very busy with Work and Family.

Still Eyeballing the FSH.......... someday.
I’d like to see them ditch the forward port side aquarium live well and make that another storage pod wherein the storage would pass through into the port bow seat. That’s a great place to store down riggers, dock poles and a deck brush. It would also be nice to have all the storage areas be lockable and not just the head compartment and glove box.

What REALLY would be nice, is if Yamaha would let you BUILD a boat and not just buy pre-made versions. They have more models now than anything, so why not go to a single size model and let people pick and choose what features and colors they want?!

I agree, especially at the size/price point. The various models are fine for the 19-25' market - keeps manufacturing/distribution simple, but people spending 200K+ on boats tend to want them optioned to their taste.

The build quality can be iffy as it is - I'd be scared to death of ordering a snowflake Yamaha. :-/

I was saying the crosswave will probably be 30k
What's funny is we saw spy photos of the Crosswave this time last year, but never saw anything releases. Who knew we were seeing the 2026.

I remember as it had those goofy pipes coming down the front and odd hull. Some thought it was some sort of convertible waverunner, like a shuttlecraft.

Agreed, but that would add cost 💲….we all talk about wanting better stuff, like LED tail lights, should be standard in this day and age, but economy of scale of the incandescent ones keeps the price down and the profit up. It’s the same way with the rest of the boat, and that’s why Yamaha boats are the best bang for the buck on the market. Myself, I’d like to see them gel coat the areas inside the hull where you have access to work on stuff like the aft bilge, I’ve spent a fair amount of time in there and got cut up by the sharp fiberglass, there’s some daggers in there as well, had one go under a fingernail=OUCH!, and my skin gets covered in glass fibers so I wear a shirt to minimize that. At the very least, a quick block sanding to knock off the sharp edges and a quick shot of paint. And since I have an electric brake controller I’d like an electric over hydraulic braking system option, I could put one on but they’re a grip, your high end wake boats $350K come with those, and there you have it. When you get into the high / higher end boats, Robalo, Grady, Boston you get a more refined product along with a $350K price tag. I could make a big list of stuff that I’d like to see but that stuff would require extra labor and add cost, like a better accessory electrical system with a fuse block that’s clearly marked, or wiring that’s all sano and laid out nice, again lots of extra labor and cost. But I’m good with how it is.

It’s ironic really, I order my trucks through fleet sales and that usually knocks $10,000 off the price. I get the exact trim level I want (lariat ultimate), exterior/ interior colors, seat option, head lights, sound system etc…

Judging from the comments thus far, I can see people have vastly differing wants… and that would add significantly to the cost, and my wants are not going to be mainstream. Look at the things I’ve done to my boat, not many would want them but they work for me.

Again, this new 29’ boat has a lot of features like the higher end boats and has the price tag to go with it.

I'm not a fisherman but the Crosswave is pretty slick.

def cool looking. but hard to imagine enough stability to walk around the perimeter....and sitting to fish seems like a back-breaker, kinda like kayak fishing is. how would this compare with a 16' bass tracker?
