AR190 not starting - Engine won't turn and no gauges - radio, blower, bilge, lights all work.

I have a 2018 AR 190 - When attempting to start the boat, I get a flick of the screen on the gauges but no clicking or tuning over on motor. Gauges do not come on or anything. Replaced all 10, 20 & 30 AMP fuses in the motor compartment but no luck. Any ideas?

Boat is in neutral, safety lanyard is connected, I have gas, battery is charged

Check your rear hatch switch. I've had mine loosen over time and lose connection.

Sounds like a DEAD battery. Not just kinda dead, but all the way dead. As soon as you put a load on it, internal short happens and you lose all power.

How old is the battery? If its original to 2018, you got some good life from it. Also check your battery cables in the event something is loose. Sometimes simple things are overlooked.

Have another battery to try? Just because voltage is good, does not mean the battery is good. I'm guessing dead battery. I had the same issue. Guy didnt want to replace it because the voltage was good. I told him it didnt matter. Replaced and fixed.

There should be a 20 amp fuse in the house circuit near the battery. That fuse should not prevent starting but still worth checking.

Also be sure to check the grounds. A failed engine ground could cause this.
