When I took my impeller off it gouged my drive shaft thread and the impeller threads.
I have a new drive shaft and impeller ordered, it just has not arrived yet.
Thinking about cleaning up the old parts and putting back together.
Anybody know what size the threads would be?

I just remembered they are left handed threads too.
That sounds like it will be fun to find.

I found one reference to thread size... M20. Still looking for confirmation and pitch.

Unfortunately the only service manual I have is the 2005 230 series one. It lists: Impeller drive shaft (left-hand threads) – Impeller M20, but not the pitch.

I know the shaft and impeller part numbers changed in 2010, not sure if the diameter of the shaft changed or not...

Well the new shaft shipped and should be delivered on Thursday.

I got the new shaft and measured it.
I put the shaft and seals in freezer to assemble this weekend.

M24x1.5 left hand

I measured it with calipers (cheap set) and ID of threads at shaft start 22.25 and measuring on the OD threads were at 24.75.
