Artemis launch

Same. Downside for my.little guy is he's probably not gonna be a space pilot (or any kinda pilot), mom and I both have not great vision so odds are he will too.
Keep the young one's interest going, there are many aviation jobs that allow corrected vision. While I couldn't fly military due to my corrected vision I ended up with land and sea ratings. It's unfortunate that those restrictions are/were in place for intial military flight training as I have seen many Viper and Warthawg pilots roll thru Last Chance with glasses on..

Hope not…

Rolling to the VAB tonight.
Hopefully they use the opportunity to replace the Range Safety Batteries.

Thanks for the update! I’d like to think they will replace the RSB’s as well as anything else that it may need. I assume the replacement quick disconnect was replaced and it tested good?

My understanding is that they were ready to launch tomorrow, provided the Range approved the battery waiver.

Ah I see… well, fingers crossed on the next window!

Just saw this on my feed, didnt know they are sending crew today to space station, lift off in a little over 2 hours

Man, flying down that way tomorrow. Would have been awesome to see.

Awesome! Thanks for posting @fatboyroy ! A great surprise to find after a long day on the water!

The timing of the launch is right, about 15 minutes after sunset. If it is clear, you might get to see what I saw one morning from my house.
Probably from same launch but I’m a bit further south 1E18666C-73E0-4ACD-9AF1-08658170BFFF.jpeg

Artemis will attempt to launch Monday November 14 at 12:07 AM.
That will be an early morning wake-up call for the area.

Thanks for the update!

This kinda suck i want to see the plumes (contrail) of old fuel technology preferably daytime or dusk/dawn. Its harder to see at night and I'm not sure i want to drive there at midnight unsure if it will launch or not.
