i have a new 212x. My center ballast has filled and won't drain. The monitor shows that it is empty but it is not. Any suggestions?

You could disconnect the fill/drain hose fitting and let the bag empty into the bilge. Not pretty but will work.
Are you in the water?
If on a trailer, open up the drain and jack up the bow as high as you can, may want to use a cinder block or something to support the trailer jack and give it a lift and help drain the bilge.
If you are in the water, the bilge pump will drain the bilge, for the most part. I don't think there is a chance/risk of swamping anything in the engine compartment from a (usually not completely full) factory bag, but may want to empty it in increments.

For the center ballast, you will need to open the plug in the rear/bottom of the locker - that drains into the bilge.

Is there a way to manually override the pump to turn on in reverse? Isn't technology grand sometimes....lol I love the old school switches.

Do the factory ballasts have quick connectors that would work with a backup over the rail pump like one for Fly High bags?

The ski locker circuit in the new 212s is separate, but still all the controls are integrated into their version of Connext.
@JoeN If you are willing to disconnect the pump, you could simply power it up from a portable little jumpstarter battery. No worries about frying the pump, they use reversibles from Jabsco. Just switch the polarity to switch direction of flow.
This is a center locker pump in a 2017 212x:

@JoeN - If you hold the down arrows on your screen it will override and continue to empty the bags. Once empty, it will automatically calibrate your bag to zero / empty
