Yeah... I've tried to answer people's questions on the Yamaha Jetboaters Facebook page with links to answers here and had them deleted and a PM telling me that they're not affiliated with this forum. I bet it just burns them up that everyone is over here having a good time.

They have their program alert on key words like jetboaters.net try it and see I am told that if you do a link it distorts is so it won't work also and then it tells the admins of it

He has the forum software set to automatically replace our url or anything close to it with a . (this applies to public posts and private messages) It is part of php.bb's foul language replacement utility. Pretty sad really....but so is banning members for pointing out how to get yourself added to the map (yup...true story....and part of why we are all over here now).

I occasionally go over there just to see if any poor souls are waiting for the answer to a question and are getting nothing....then I'll consider PMing them that there is another site they might want to google where their question will typically be answered in hours or even minutes.

Funny tidbit of info....I (and @txav8r) still have more posts over there than the owner of the site (my name over there is Mitchelled)! LOL I rarely see him posting...his boat doesn't run....(last I heard)....so I should remain #3. Fond memories of take over attempts, sales attempts etc....

We did offer to buy the content from Brian....he refused. With each year that passes its value diminishes as the content gets covered in more detail here.
