When I bought my boat used, 4 years ago, it was obvious that someone had left it out in the sun as one side of the orange gelcoat is faded.

I am having my marina's detailer fix this and detail the outside of the boat. I am also having them remove the original Yamaha graphics. We are then going to have some sort of custom graphics made and installed next season. We have searched online and found everything from some color accents to full boat wraps with all sorts of crazy amped up themes.

What we are interested in doing is some sort of updated swoosh design and putting updated Yamaha logos and such on the boat.

Does anyone have any pictures of their work?

BTW, I searched the forum and found a few short threads, but nothing that was great.

Thanks,

Eric

I like that graphics kit redthumper9. Thats something like I want. No skulls, nothing totally amped up.

So far, my search isn't coming up with much. There is a place in Fox Lake that does the graphics and wraps. Very expensive, although I think for a basic striping or swoosh style package it would be under $1,000.

@Eric Popper .....take your time and come up with ideas and see if you can work with a sign shop or graphics guy. I drew mine and had the sign shop make a mock up.20140309_223654.jpg 20140309_223723.jpg

@Eric Popper . Nope. My hull is the two tone that used to have the stars on the side. I just removed the stars and came up with something to separate the red and the white.

This one was posted last week and I thought it was really sharp:

Is he moving around with the anchor clipped to his bow eye? Edit:Oops... Guess that's for the jetboarders hose.

Just saw this one on the jetboaters.net facebook page. I think it looks great.

Hey @redthumper9 I always wondered if your boat was wraped, looks awesome! I been intertaining the idea on getting a wrap for my rig, but always wondered about the maintenance, how long will it last, any good or bad experience you could share would be great!
And would you do a wrap again?
