Some people have added fuel water separators, but not many (like less than 5 I recall).

Seafoam will help mix the water with fuel and burn it off. You may get a couple more hard starts as the water will still want to pool at the bottom of the tank...but much less so, if at all, dpending on how much you got in there.

Have you ever drained water out of the bowl?

Honestly? I can't say for sure there's water in the fuel when I drain them. My Racors are aluminum. No sight glass. So I just drain a bit at the beginning of the season and call it good.

So, doing a little research on these. If you have a fuel/water separator on an inboard below decks, it must have an aluminum body (rather than the clear).

@Glassman what gph did you get for yours? That seems to be the determining factor in cost, and the main downside to the cheap ones (the replaceable filter ones restrict flow when the filter is dirty, causing issues...).

I have the 110A for gasoline = Flow rates up to 35 gph (132 lph)
