I had @JetBoatPilot do a full boat wrap and impact graphics that look great! Even with the softer bow roller the wrap was getting beat up quick. I bought a stainless piece off amazon but it really didn't fit the boats lines and I would have had to cut it to work with the chines as they come up front. So I mocked up a piece and sent it down to them and just installed yesterday. It's a reef wrap piece I think it was called? Tougher than marine matt. Adheres nicely, forms to the hull and covers what's needed!
Glad they could do a custom fab job for this because stainless would have looked off compared to the rest of the hull.
I think I may put just a touch of clear silicone around the edges just because where the bow roller was hitting started to peel and I traced it with a razor along the edge once mocked up to remove it. The silicone should keep it from peeling.
Let me know what you think! Boat slightly off from dead center on trailer in case you see a little offset. Just unstrapped boat and pushed back slightly by hand to work, got where i wanted it snd cranked it tight. Then loosened a bit, go the backing paper started in a few spots and peeled it away as i cranked it tight again snd pressed down.
Hopefully it does the trick!
