Was at a local inland lake in Michigan (wamplers) at the sand bar and out of nowhere a bunch of large black flying critters swarmed everyone and landed. They pretty much landed and stuck around not swarming. From what I can tell they where black soldier flys. They (assuming) left this red crusty stuff EVERYWHERE. Anyone recognize it?
