Cheap quick adjustable fender option

@svana Those are interesting. Wonder if they slide back and forth on the grab rail or if they stay where they are clipped?

I have them and they work pretty well but they slide back and forth.

I have the stainless steel Danik hooks,
Yup that's why we have the plastic hooks, light and strong, and won't scratch easily. I use them in only a couple of locations where they don't rub on any part of the gelcoat.

I purchased the Danik hooks as well. Easy to connect, adjust, and remove. You can hook them to your grab rails on the bow, or the cleats. So far so good. No scratches!

This is timely, I just bought a set of fenders/accessories yesterday since Wholesale Marine had a $20 off $100 coupon. Got a pair of THESE FENDERS to use with THESE CLIPS. Adjusting the lines should be as easy as just pulling the rope out of the teeth and fitting it back in. Clips will hopefully be able to grab the hand rails, bimini and windshield rail to give a lot of coverage. We'll see though...
How did these clips work on the windshield and rail?

What size for the straps and clips guys? I’m finding 5/8 on Amazon. Coloured clips too. (great idea HangOutdoors). And do the plastic clips fit through the cleat hole? My boats at the lake and I can’t measure.

I don't push the buckle through the cleat hole. I just push the strap loop then bring it over the cleat ends. Just like you would do a rope loop

They were ok. Helped to easily adjust height as needed, primarily for holding the fenders horizontally against unprotected piers (of which there are many in Bimini), but could be finicky with keeping them in place.
