west overlook. Down by the dam. Large area and well built. Never had an issue. This is our preferred area now

Mehaffey is ok earlier in the day, but Saturday afternoon/evening piles up!

bobbers has sold out launch tickets so they’re swamped

the other not sure.

OH, if you use that launch, make sure to check out the little rickety ice cream shop on the way out, by the camping area. Nice end to a day in the sun...

Being that this is related to boating in Iowa, has anyone been to Rathbun lately? Was there almost 20 years ago, and wonder how it is now.

couple years ago we did.

Still pretty nice. Big resort there now....

Gets very choppy with wind.... but we had a really great day out there!
