@robert843 turned me onto this show last summer sometime, and for some reason I'm just now getting to watch it. 6 seasons streaming on Amazon Prime. Crazy mofo's jetski from Seattle to Russia in season 1, with plans on circumnavigating the globe by the end? Just finished season 1 last night, it certainly makes bimini 2015/2017 look more like a cooper river run. Definitely worth the watch, although I really wanna jetski alaska now.

Dude where U been? LOL. I watched them all! I have talked to Steven, group leader, about Seattle to Fairbanks Alaska trip and riding with them if they ever come around east coast. They been doing an annual Seattle to Fairbanks Alaska trip all inclusive, but U best have a BIG wallet! They have Facebook page as well.

Been on the water ABN! No time to watch the ol teevee, next I gotta get caught up on Cheers!

Somebody on here has a friend that paid their fees to go on a 7 day group trip totaling 800ish miles. I took a look at their site it worked out to about $1,000 per day as I recall. They have several routes that vary timing wise over the season but space is limited. For that kind of money I would expect to stay in a nice hotel every night or at the very least glamping with all meals included (in addition to the rental of a hardened pwc and fuel) but I didn’t read much further once I saw the rates.

$5800-$6200 per person! No thanks!

How random!? I literally just finished the trip from Rupert to Seattle with Steve on Friday.

I’ll have a video together in a few weeks.

Expensive expensive trip but one I’ll never forget.

U not even 1/2 there with those $$ Group is usually about 10-15 , remember this is not the Caribean, very isolated, conditions can be challenging even in summer and is definately a real one of a kind adventure trip. Definately not for everyone in many ways.

Key West to Cuba and return would be a good adventure trip and I suspect a lot less costly. But the logistics for even a small group will be challenging due to limited marinas, fuel etc. I still have it listed on my Dream Rider list. Anyone up for NC to Miami and maybe further to Keys in AUG?

I'd love to do NC > Miami with you brother, but this August, or next?

NC to Miami by boat or ski would be fun....but would likely require logistical support and a lot of time!

There is company on Craigslist LA offering tours from marina Del Ray to Catalina on pwcs. It’s a day trip for about $300 per pwc plus fuel, so $400ish and you are there and back in a day.

I would love to just don't have the time to commit to it in one shot right now. I hope to get @veedubtek to bring his skis down next month for a week end and run the entire length of NC and I hope to run Hilton Head Down to Jacksonville in September sometime. This will get me started on my great loop run clearing all NC, SC and GA then I will decide next year if I want to tackle VA to NY or all of Florida and the gulf side of the trip.

My 2 cents after doing the trip, you really need to find some protected waters. There were times we were not and while it was fun for a few hours, to do a lengthy (enjoyable) trip you need some protected waters.

It was a great trip and for those of us that think we love to boat or jet ski, Steve loves it more. Haha. Actually that was really refreshing, you can just tell he loves it and is passionate about that part of the world, as he should be.

Like I said I’ll have a video produced in a couple of weeks, today’s the first day back at work, that’s hard enough!

No, not really, I did it a few years back in 7 days but could have done it faster if it had gone IAW plans. My Army buddy and I running hard and camping in the wilderness. That lasted one night. As soon as my long term girlfriend saw the 7ft lizards I had a mutiny on my hands and from then on more complex of having to find cushy hotels. At times real pain when not close to marinas, but one of my best most memorable trips.

This AUG, 3rd or 4th week will give me a little break after my Tennessee River 800 from 21-29 July.

So @veedubtek any interest in doing this next month? I bet you could talk @robert843 into taking that other ski of yours ;). @JROD can you provide a little more detail like days needed, what's the plan in getting back, where to stay, etc? Can't seem to shake this idea as Bimini just doesn't seem to be enough this year.

Dude I am glad is drilling a hole in Ur head, I thought it was just me. Bimini is never enough 4 me either! Don't worry so darn much about the details let's be like Nike and just do it! LOL
I guess there R many ways to do it, but I like KISS principle kerp it simple stupid. OK so here R some details for U, 1st thing is firm commitment and setting date range. We need a minimum of 7 days. We can try to schedule lodging ahead of time but I found out it does not always work since we encountered several very ugly afternoon thunderstorms that impeded our progress and a couple became down right dangerous where we had to get off the water and seek refuge on a ditch because the shoreline woodline was smoking. FLA is famous for out of nowhere afternoon thunderstorms. So it gets worse once U pass GA in to FLA. We never had any problems finding lodging but it won't hurt making some reservations at least for 1st few days and try to make those stops. I was only able to make my scheduled stops about 50% of the time. I am not interested in running like a scolded dog. Easy sightseeing pace of 100-150 miles a day, but not in concrete. Big question is R we bringing our long-term girlfriends or we try a men only trip? If is 4 of us on skis, we can combine 2skis per 2 vehicles and double trailers drive down to Miami and do one way rental car back. We can drop skis at my place in OKI until we ready for depature then just hit the ICWW. I have parking worked out for us in Miami as well as pick up from the ICWW at whatever point we decide to pull out either Port Everglades, Hollywood or somewhere at public ramps in Miami. As U all know many miles of nowake all the way down to Miami so we have option to run on the outside ocean as long as we can legally. There are areas in Key Biscayne that skis R not permitted and most LEOs have strong prejudice towards PWC. I have 3 days to get ready for my next Tennessee River 800 adventure 21-29 July so we can talk more when I get back. Cheers & Salud!
