Isn't this someone's boat here? I recall the paint in the 242 being painted red, and a bunch of other stuff. Thought this was for sale tail end of last year and was in Michigan. My neighbor stumbled on to it and was asking if it was a good deal. I said if that isn't a scam I'll be there tomorrow to buy it for that price. Normally the blacking out of the numbers means scam. Just can't find the for sale thread from when it was posted.

At the very best it’s a typo. At worst, definitely a scam. I don’t think times are THAT tough just yet.

Hell, I'd pay twice that price!! Agreed, typo or clerical error for sure. ?

And the verbiage is stock, not from someone who owned it and put hard-earned blood, sweat and tears.

I do remember that someone posted that logo painted just tried searching for it but could not find the post.

Once I saw the ad I was like OMG I know that boat....also couldn't find anything on the forum.

The name looks to be WORTH THE WAKE and I do recall seeing conversations about the 242X red lettering in the tower. Hmmm...

The phone number matched the advertised location of the boat. This is a saltwater boat. It might have some mechanical problems. I went ahead and messaged the owner. I will report back if I hear anything.

Am I driving to Virginia or Michigan?? LMAO!!

I’ve ways found the best way to make the determination is offer to see and buy it immediately, cash in hand, just need the address. If they don’t reply back it’s a scam, if they do I hit the bank and head to the meeting location cash in hand a tow vehicle ready. Out of 10 or more similar situations only one ended up not being a scam.

I'm in New Kent VA and have a 210 FSH. I'll go look at it if you want.

Actually got a reply from the boat trader ad. Said they are in Florida and got the boat at auction. Told me I could come to Miami and purchase and tow myself or they could ship it to me. Tried to get a phone number to call, but they wanted to call me instead. Definitely a scam.

That's the problem. They won't give me an address to go look at the boat until I give them my phone number and they call me.

You have to give them the google code first ;)
