Actually got a reply from the boat trader ad. Said they are in Florida and got the boat at auction. Told me I could come to Miami and purchase and tow myself or they could ship it to me. Tried to get a phone number to call, but they wanted to call me instead. Definitely a scam.

They told my neighbor it's in Daytona, but otherwise similar story. Yup, def a scam. Wonder WTF their endgame is? Ask for a deposit, then disappear?
