That a good little restaurant there. We go there often. Hopefully that pier makes it out ok. Florence took out a lot of it.
Here is a pic from last year. A large section was gone. They did a great job over the winter rebuilding itView attachment 104584

It is good. My next door neighbor owns it. Can't get a much better location.

All and all not a bad outcome for me, only lost power early this morning and has been restored an hour ago.
No loss of trees just a few smalls that fell.

Has anyone heard how bimini weathered?
I wonder if they are flooded with refugees from other islands?
Will there be anything we can do to help when people go next year?
@Bruce tagging you because you have friends there i am sure.

@Speedling, the winds peaked around 60 mph in Bimini. Very minimal damage.

Can we use our group to bring needed supplies to bimini for distribution to other islands? Sounds very unorganized over there.

Lee, outside of well organized charities it is likely that donations would be taxed. There also is the issue of how to get donations safely to those that need them in remote locations.

Neil Watson is delivering supplies to Grand Bahama. Currently he is full. I will ask him about how to contribute to his next run.
