Ok, ?
That does not exist in my Boat.

Someone said they are on the back wall. They should be accessible.

On the backwall are plugs but they are connected. You can See them on my pictures from the backwall.
But I don't think they are the right one.

Look for something in back of the engines, in a bundle/loop of wiring that looks like this. They will, should, be labeled Port and Starboard engine.

Ok,
Now my YDS arrived but I do not get it started. It says that the Software can Not find the cable.
I channget the USB Port to Port 2 as in the menuel but it still does not work.
Someone an Idea?

You probably tried disconnecting and reconnecting. YDS is powered by ECU. Make sure battery is connected. I would open up Device Manager and watch for changes. It might take a few times. I had trouble at first also. Maybe others will chime in. Keep posting!

No, it does not Wort.. I tryed and tryed...
But now, after driving the boat a vew minutes, both lights are off..
Hope I figure out the problem with the YDS..

What messages are you getting from your pc and the program?

Change it back from Port 2. You should just be able to use usb without changing any settings.

Did you try updating drivers for usb port? Does a memory stick work in port? Try reloading the software?

On pc go to Control Panel/Device Manager. Plug in the yds to the usb, a new file appears: 'USB Serial Converter.' Try right clicking on that file; go to 'Update Driver.' See if you can update it. It may update as long as you are connected to the internet. I do not think you have to have it connected to the ECU to do this. After doing this, right click on USB Serial Converter/Properties and it should say, Device is Working Properly.' Hopefully, that helps. Report back, please!

I have tryed it and Computer says device is working but when I Start the the Yamaha Software it says that there is no device connected. ?

The cable has to be connected to the ECU. When computer and ECU are connected, then when starting engine, LED light on the YDS connector goes from red to blue. At that point there is communication between your computer and the ECU.

Jep, I read the Instruktion but it does not work...
I checked it on my Boat, does not work. After that I tryed it on my car with OBD and it has the same problem..
Anyway, I will find out when I have more time. At the moment my Boat runns fine again.
At the Moment I have more problems with geting a new nozzle for my jet.
