Hey guys,
So after I have had my boat for 3 months, I was told that I cant leave it in the water due to corrosion...even though the dealership and manufacturer both promised it would be ok if I bottom pained it. Anyways, I love my boat and I did not want to sell it....so I bought my EZ Dock!
Just wanted to post this in here and answer any questions for someone who may be interested as well. 20150730_154147.jpg 20150730_154153.jpg IMG_0929.JPG IMG_0931.JPG IMG_0933.JPG 20150801_141150.jpg IMG_3486.JPG

Were the water police giving you trouble?

Wont your trailer rust away after one season of being submerged under that EZ Dock?

How hard is it to run it up on that dock? Likewise, ow hard is it to get it off. The guy selling these locally tells me boats my size would require some good old fashioned muscling to actually get it off the dock.

Bay Constable towed it over from the ramp for us, and no its not hard to get up on the dock and its pretty easy to get off of it too

I'd like to see a video of you getting on and off the dock.

Ok i will post a video next time i go out. Either today or tomorrow

In the long run, I think you will be happy that the boat is up and out of that salt water. The videos of the load/unload are going to be helpful as well.

Your dealer for EZ Deck should pay you for a video. He'll sell a ton more if you zip on and off easy!

Its a damn shame they told you one thing and you put on anti fowling paint. That stuff is OK for boats in saltwater for the trade off in performance loss etc. Now you have had to go the dock route (which IMHO is the only way to go with a jet drive system due to how hard it is to get the inside of the pumps cleaned etc. from growth) . I would love to see a video of you using this as well. Looks great!

I have ezports for my skis and its a big push to get them off. I couldn't imagine a full size boat. Yes they are tied up for now.. i am waiting for my dock to be installed. I just had the weeds cleared..
Now the big question..i know what they cost for skis.. about 1800 how much was it for a boat?

Yeah you have the older style, when the ballast tanks fill up on my dock in the back the boat is on such an angle that the littlest push moves it enough. Then i hop in the boat, put it in reverse and use some gas to get off

This dock was $7,900 plus shipping and tax

that looks really nice, I can't believe those guys painted your hull and then mentioned everything else will be a problem, what a scam,

I think you'll really appreciate having it out of the water, it's a lot of money but that's a lot of cleaning you won't have to do,

If the dealer painted your hull and said it was OK then told you later the MFG said no, I would be taking it to them to kindly remove the paint and polish the hull back out on their dime since they didn't know what they were talking about.

There are a bunch of options on the new docks lift systems to make the boat easier to get on and off, shower hook ups etc. The local dealer here has a full on show room set up. They are gaining popularity here because (so I've heard) they do not require the permits that a lift installation requires because they are not considered permanent. Our next door neighbor waited 41/2 months for his lift installation permits. Looks like you have a great setup. You will like having your boat out of the water.

This isn't the best video and for some reason the wind was making it tough to get on the dock straight today but I figured I'd still post the video so you guys can see that one person can push it off and then use the reverse on the boat with some gas to get it off. I still think I am going to lubricate the bunks so I don't have to use as much gas getting on and off because you can see the boats bouncing around a little. It wasn't as difficult the other 2 times I've used it compared to today but like I said I still wanted to post something for you guys to see, Ill update you with more videos after I get the hang of it a little more (its still new and different!)

I went back this evening when the wind wasnt 25mph lol. It went back on the dock straight on rather than on an angle. I am going to lubricate the bunks wth Silicone paste tomorrow so it slides right on and off
