I would like to see how you installed that on top of the rail. This sounds like a great idea.

It's the same base for the extended bimini poles, so it works out great. I have two placed amidships (port & starboard) at the end of the windshield and two aft in line with and forward of the cleats. I'll try and remember to snap a photo.

@Glassman If they are Taylor Made they have a lifetime warranty supposedly. Not sure if that helps or not in your case.
