Fire stick with Kodi app

Fire stick is OK works but just OK.

Look into a g box.. much faster it works great we cut cable over a year ago. Between the gbox and an over the air antenna we get pretty much everything.

Yeah, I started with the jailbroke stick, then the firebox, and then went to the Gbox2. My advice, skip straight to the gbox. Much faster, and requires no jailbreaking.

I sell the firesticks here locally for 100. I can do 75 with free shipping .. Yes they all get the same programming. I can also give you my mobile number to whoever purchases one for troubleshooting, help and assistance. If any of my device ever gives an issue, I will swap it out for you. Before 4 months , I take care of return shipping after 4 months, just pay return shipping and you will get a new device fully programmed again for 1 year warranty.

Firesticks work very well. Some people prefer the boxes because Ethernet Port internet is usually quicker and they like connecting USB Keyboards and Mouse.. Plus Quad core works well flipping through apps etc

They do work. I have a few I use throughout the house, even one in my gym. Regarding how they last, you have to be careful with thunderstorms. They must be on a power protection strip, or unplugged when not in use. The box is sensitive to that. Then with the programing, occasionally something stops working so you should read up on them so you can get it going again, but they are absolutely worth it from what you can get out of them. Some programing works better than others and occasional problems with buffering especially during prime time. But it is seldom enough that it is not a bother.
I ordered the Firestick and box from amazon and program them myself. Lots of info out there on how to.
I also had to install a signal extender for the wifi but now the entire house works well.

Thanks for the 2 android box's, and fire box programming. They work awesome. Literally was plug and play like you said. Family is finding so many TV shows and movies it is unbelievable what is available to watch.

Amazing how happy the wife is to find TV shows.

Love my hopper 3, dish programming, netflix, and apple tv. That said if I can cut the cord/satellite and save over $100 a month then I am all for it. How does the tv programming compare to dish? Discovery channel, Science channel, FX, TNT, USA, Bravo, sports, and major networks programming all there? Live tv? Day old tv? DVR capabilities? I can build and program just about any device so which hardware works best? Gbox, fire tv stick, raspberry pi, dedicated windows machine, dedicated linux machine? I built a media closet with ethernet and rg6 to the whole house as well as hdmi and ht speakers to my family room dumb panel and wall mounted speakers.

6 tvs in my house and has to be easy for the wife and kids to use. Also must not need my time for tech support once initial setup is done.

Sorry for the 20 questions but as tech savy as I am the cord cutting thing is just not something I have looked into.

Hey buddy , well the good thing about the android boxes is that you do not pay a monthly fee.

You pretty much watch every movie / show out that has ever been broadcasted. Sports / porn / and live tv as well. Live tv can be finicky sometimes , but some addons have shows like AE , discovery , history , and plenty more. It's pretty easy as well, as @dan144k mentioned, it's pretty much plug and play and I can program to cater meaning pretty much add / delete what you're interested in and not interested in.

If you have basic computer skills, can watch a youtube video and follow simple instructions its easy to figure these out. I use Ares wizard and Pulse builds. Great advice , but remember to be careful with the knock offs that claim to have quad core chips etc .. sometimes the cheaper ones are knock offs
