I guess I am lucky. I have a Shell station very close to home with Marine 89 octane (no ethanol).. cheap to currently 2.35 gallon. Only gas I have ever had in the boat. 24 hours on the dial so far and seems to run great. FYI.. I have also used same gas (Marine 89 octane) and station for 10 years plus for filling up my 2006 4runner . Truck has never had an issue and has never knocked one time. I feel if you can get ethanol free it will be much better on the inner working of your boat on the long haul!. I also thing you will get better mileage. The few time I have put 10% ethanol GAS in the 4runner mileage is always 2 to 3 miles per gallon lower. Hope this helps.
 
Yeah I say the EPA needs to go the way of the wind. There a joke!! Bureaucratic crap!
