Going to be getting a full set deck mats inc swim platform. Just looking for pros, cons and opinions for different brands? I tore out the rugs 3 yrs ago and replaced with black tip (I think). Loved them in the beginning, but now they are disintegrating and getting black all over. I know there is seadek and hydro turf, any other worth looking at? I am weighing buying a kit, vs sheets right now. Any group buys? Anyone got an in anywhere for discounts? I am looking for a decent product; but definitely at the best price. Looking at b grade if I am going to cut my own. Let me know.....Z

Welcome Aboard.

@JetBoatPilot http://JetBoatPilot.com introduced some "reduced labor" models with lower prices recently. He held a group buy during the winter but I doubt we will see any new discounts until the boating season is over.

These are my mats. I have had them for a year and we are very happy with them.

Those look awesome... If you don't mind me asking, how much did a set like that cost you? The look super professional...more so than cutting them out of sheet stock

We are getting ready to install the same mats as @Bruce , but another mat you may want to look at is the deckadence material. It may be something you are looking for or it may not.

The blacktip product was a cheaper version of the Hydro-Turf product. Hydro-Turf is what comes from the Factory on all Yamaha boats. SeaDek is the premium brand and will have the longest life span. They warranty for three years and we hear stories of commercial fishermen booking over 200 trips per year and with all that use still getting 5-7 years out of their SeaDek kits UNCOVERED!! If you store your boat covered you can expect longer life than that.

The new stuff that is out there from competitors is basically the same stuff as blacktip and Hydro-Turf. They simply laminate together two sheets and then engrave it like the SeaDek mats. But keep in mind that SeaDek has been doing this for 15 plus years. Their material has been perfected and is really the industry standard from the OEM level.

Figure I will add to an existing thread then start a new one on this topic.

I added MarineMat to my 2019 AR190. Pleasantly surprised they had my layout already on file. Install was surprisingly easy (removal required a little effort on the back deck). Simply "Windex with Ammonia" prep, then peel and stick. Customer Service was great and everything cost about $430 (was a little more due to back deck was 9mm thick). Left the carpets in for now and will probably replace them with 9mm mats in couple of years. I went with the brushed look, but they offer a ton of colors and designs.
