Fusion 770 In Challenger

Has anyone installed a Fusion Apollo RA770 on a late model Seadoo Challenger 180?

If so, what did you come up with to deal with the height of the 770 vs stock unit? It looks to be about a half inch too tall to fit flush. I don’t know if maybe making an angled mounting board or trimming down the opening to make it bigger at the top side is the best idea or not. ??‍

Pics are sample with the stock unit installed, I’ll post up some images of the offset issue later today.

I have different model of fusion, so I had to add adapter plate to take up the gap from oem hole. Found this in reviews for model you are looking to do. Crutchfield - Seriously Into Audio Since 1974

Yeah, I purchased the adapter plate to take care of the opening on the left and right sides. I think I'll just need to trip a little bit of the whole at the top to make it fit flush. I'll post up some pics once I get it done.
