Got my 2015 242 Limited S today!

Seadeck installed.... hardest part of this install was getting my seats up!

@Benny Sibbitt - That looks great! Please let me know how hot that is compared to the white floor you laid it over.

The heat absorption is my only hold back on that mod.

@Bennie I notice today it got pretty hot but it feels so good on the feet, very soft (it was in the 90's today)
Might have to keep my feet wet.... Ha!

@Benny Sibbitt Nice boat and truck. I am a bit biased though! (see below haha). Everyone I run in to compliments me on the black boat. It really looks good cleaned up and on the water. Just installed a JL system similar to yours with a sub, but no tower speakers. You may want to consider adding two additional cockpit speakers next to driver and passenger seats. It makes a huge difference. You may not need them though since you have tower speakers. The seadek looks great! It is on my to do list. Oh yeah, you should look in to changing out your bow stop to a Stoltz one. It will save your gelcoat.

Definitely add some mid cabin speakers, the tower speakers are more for behind the boat. I am very happy with the extra sound of mid cabin AND the tower speakers combined.

@matt Now That’s a beautiful Boat!!!!! HA!
You ford guy too! Yes, I love the color, I think I want to change out my registration numbers to gold like yours
Just last night I was looking at those Stoltz rollers, is there a certain size I need?
I was also thinking I might need mid cabin speakers @jawsf16
If you walk from the back of the boat to the front of the boat, you get in that dead zone right at the helm until you get to the windshield of boat. Music is much lower there.

Do you guys notice these boat trailer tongue seems to sit low?

I ordered my gold numbers from jetboatpilot. I like them, but turned out a little darker than I wanted. Was trying to match the 242 limited factory color. Only issue I see with you adding two speakers is you may want an additional amp. I'm running the m800 pushing the 8 JL 650's. I believe the stoltz stop I installed is the ultimate 4". I ordered from overtons for something like $35.

Yes, my tongue sits low. Been meaning to flip over my 2" drop receiver to see if it helps. My truck squats pretty bad because I have front lifted 2.5" with coilovers.

Man you just need a bigger truck!! :winkingthumbsup"

I took my boat to the local "Signs Now" and had them match the color. That how I got my name to match.

You guys have nice trucks. I see Benny's details in signature. What is your setup Bennie?

My bad - it should show up now.

I need to add two mid-ship speakers, like @jawsf16 and an amp... but have NO idea how to do that.

Prefect thanks

I also lifted front 2.5 and added airbags in the rear.... In my signature photo I have a 3" drop hitch on my truck.
I bought that before I took delivery of my boat, I figure since my truck sat higher I would need a drop hitch.... So wrong
To level out as you see in the photo I added 50lbs of air in the rear. I think is I get a strieght hitch I will be fine and take out some rear air.
Get some rear air bags in your truck that will elmate squat

Most people erroneously go with the drop hitch when most stock trucks and SUV need a slight rise to be level. I flip my standard 2 drop hitch and it works perfectly. Probably straight makes more sense if you already have a lift or big level @Benny Sibbitt still jealous of your trucks stance OBTW!

@Bennie we are good at spending money and helping you DIY. Just start a thread or search and we can get you squared away.

Ah yeah been thinking of getting some rear air bags to help with the sag. Hmm, that or 35's. Not sure what to get first. The puny 275/55/20's look too small right now.

@MattFX4
Thread drift, I am replacing my stock Pirellis soon and thinking of 275/65r20 and eventually Bilstein adjustable shocks. My stocks are pretty slick after 45k miles.

@jawsf16 nice. Been thinking about 295/60's for the width. It's basically a 34" tire, so a hair shorter. Also considering 305/55's which I believe is what @Benny Sibbitt is running on his. We are still on topic since we are talking about his truck right??!

Definitely on topic then!
I like both of those sizes too, just remember that width hurts mpg a bit more than circumference not that mpg matters much in this case. Also you may get some rubbing with wider tires unless you have wheel offset or lift. But all of these options are north of a grand! Expensive tires!

@jawsf16 @MattFX4

35's yeah you are going need a lift for sure to fit those monster on your truck, I got 33's and only 9" width and I have a some rub at full turn
Crazy but the tires cost almost more than the rims, airbags and leveling kit / Also check your engine gear – I only have 3.31 gear so for me to add 35’s I would have to regear which is a few grand to do
You can get some rear airbags under $500 / I love that I can just add some air to get more rear height – before pulling in drive way I add air to prevent bottoming out
I dropped almost $4K for my complete set up!
