the only things running through the pvc are the lines to power the running lights. Here are a few pics. Note I think the slight bend in the middle of the long section helps spring the boat to center during recovery.
@Ronnie, were the brackets just holding them in place, or were there bolts run through the PVC anywhere?
I’ve got the Veves and they are nice but I’ve never tested their strength. Obviously can’t have lights like you do with them unless you fixed them from spinning. I like the spinning, seems easier on my rub rail.
I didn’t realize the tubing was thicker like @zipper said, I thought they just added the bracing so they won’t bend in or out as easily.

I decided to go with the same ones. I bought another set. that way I will have a spare one should something happen to either one again. Will be installing this afternoon.
