So it has now been 5 weeks since we started building this site, and only 3 weeks since we went live and things are shaping up nicely! With over 475 members, many of whom are posting regularly, we have a thriving forum with some excellent threads!

Adding Cupholders - this is just another mod I have to add to the list!
Replace your plastic Scupper (older boats with below the waterline scupper drains)
And of course the most popular thread.... Show Us Your Boat!

This weeks big accomplishment is in large due to the help from @Williamsone46 for designing our winning logo, and to @Murf'n'surf for connecting with Sticker manufacturers and getting proofs made! So only 3 weeks after going live, and we are getting close to placing an order for us all to show off our new home!

In the meantime, I whipped up a template for business cards that everyone can have and modify to their hearts content! Just buy some card stock paper for your printer, or Avery 8373 business cards

And last but not least - CONGRATULATIONS @JetBoatPilot for his new addition to the Jet Boat Family!

WOOT!! Time is flying! Spread the word folks, prime time boating season is coming and lots of Jetboat owners will be looking to us for help.

Still looking good.

Congrats to all the admins for the very nice place they have established for us. Here is to reaching the 5th year anniversary and still going strong...

Great Forum - Keep up the good work!

Honestly guys...this is a big deal! But it has always been the membership that makes our forum, whether here...or before. As we won't forget that! It is truly member input and participation that creates and carries the knowledge base forward! Congrats Jetboaters!

Great accomplishment guys. Well done.

Awesome site...you guys have done a great job!

It's comforting to know I can take over 475 people out on my 10 passenger boat. You guys/gals are only a post away. Thanks.

Nice work. As far as membership and activity, did you have any goals when you started and where do you stand relative to those goals?

Yes, we had discussed goals. But it was a leap of faith almost. We wanted to provide a modern, state of the art forum tools, and an environment without the issues of the past, and answer the questions that had been back burnered for years before. We felt that member numbers were not as important as member activity. I think we reached that critical mass point in the first week live.

Hey Mel....I would say your right on track to achieve your goals. You all should be commended for your efforts thus far.
Keep the good work
...you guys rock!!!:winkingthumbsup"

It has been a team effort and team approach. But website construction is not my background or capability, nor is moderating and admin. Bruce and Julian have all the experience with that.

All of you are greatly appreciated!

Congrats to everyone!!

It's hard for me to comprehend how fast those 5 weeks went!! Thanks to all that got this site started!! You all deserve a big slap on the back and a job well done!!

Only 5 weeks and already this site is loaded with all kinds of helpful information. I'm sure there is only more to come.
