Have you seem this glitch on the forum? <Image swapping problem>

@Scottintexas This is what I see. That is quite a concocked signature. Parts of your, @Ronnie and @BigN8 posts. Sadly glad others can see this. Frustration was really building up since midday Sunday.

I have not seen this happen.

I upgraded to the latest version of the forum software and ran a filesystem check on the server.

Everything looks to be correct on the server.

I think it's China

The Admin on this site are great. @Scottintexas heard we were having problems and hopped a quick flight to Burlington Vt. to see what was going on with bad post pictures etc. on my end. Since he was not seeing this in Texas, this is what he saw in Vermont. Thanks Scott N.

Edit: He also saw this pic. from "show us what you see".
Not @Ronnie 's post picture. @PEARCE has a damn nice boat that he did not buy at a bass pro shop. Paid way more than $4500 and she did not come with a trailer.

The full size does not show what the thumbnail does.

When My avatar started doing that I believe it happened right after I quoted someone's post then it continued to do it until I changed my avatar . Since I changed it the issue has stopped

This is what I see...the difference between being logged out, viewing as a visitor seing thumbnails and being logged in seeing full size pics. This morning.

Happening on my desktop now but not the phone This is my entertainment for the day, that's for sure
Did you buy my boat? Your avatar is my boat now.........:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

So only my signature changes on your desktop? Very odd

At one point yesterday I screenshotted this from page 1 of thread, today looks normal so far.

@zipper - have you tried to change your avatar yet as Jeff did?

Guys, could stop the screen captures which are difficult to understand?

What browsers are you seeing this with and what hardware are they running on?

Do you see similar issues if you use a different browser, different hardware or view the page when logged out?

I understand that @zipper see this when logged in but not when logged out in Chrome on some devices and not seeing this in Firefox.

Despite my best attempts and trying Chrome on a Mac and iPhone I can not recreate the image swapping.

@Julian, knowing that you both are a meme consumer and Chrome user have you noticed images in the wrong places?

@Murf'n'surf, have you seen this in your picture thread?

@OperationROL, could you take a look as an IT guy?

I have seen it on my android phone, windows laptop and my wife's iPhone. It looks like a database issue. My presumption is the names of the photo in the database are same or similar.

There are similar filenames which are the names of the files as uploaded but each uploaded file has a unique data_id identifier assigned that becomes part of the URL.

For example
Code:
https://jetboaters.net/attachments/screenshot_20191212-103200-png.109012/

The 109012 is the data_id in that URL and makes it unique.

I have checked the filesystem and found it not to have issues as well as checked each of the database tables. All of the data is correct according to the filesystem and database check and repair tools.

I'm sure the Mrs. would love to have your boat until she had to pay for it. She was pretty pleased with the AR's price when we got it cheap enough for a cash deal.. She doesn't like those pesky monthly payments.
This is getting all twisted up to the point I'm losing track of everything between the Avatars, post pics and signatures.
