Height adjustable pedestal seats (fresh thread, specifically)

Anyone have a pneumatic adjustable seat input for a 2019 AR240 or would this mount also work? I totally like the idea of an adjustable seat and I can get rid of the 5 inch cushion I use. I have new hips and the bolster up is not an option for me.
What make is your existing pedestal It’s. On a sticker on the shaft.

If it’s Springfield I think you’re golden. Maybe someone else on the forum here with the same boat can chime in.

Footnote here. I read on another thread that a member removed his bolster seat altogether and was really happy with the result. I didn’t think of that. It could make the seat and lift even more functional. With the lift, the bolster is not needed on my boat. That would make standing and sitting work at my favourite position. I’m going to try it. I’ll let you know.

Yup, my bolster is gone as well. No need for it anymore, and more room

The pedestal is rediculloudly high. I’m 6’ 2” and my feet almost dangle. I won’t use ito at its highest setting.

….hmmmm I’m just trying to think of a measurement I could do to help you determine if the Slider would give you The extra slide.

I think the only fair measurement would be from the pedestal itself because it would be the only constant between our boats. So if I got a measurement from the pedestal to the full forward position do the slide (not the seat) and another to the full aft position… you could do the same and see if the slide gives you any extra distance. Would that be helpful to you?
Why wouldn't the original slide work with the new pedestal?

My original was all one unit. It could slide and rotate. But not rise and fall. THEY MAKE A UNIT THAT DOES ALL but I couldn't get them in Canada.. so, I had to go with 2 pieces if i wanted to get it on the water this year. In the USA, go find the all in one. The slide does add and extra 1 1/2" in height that I didn't need. BUT, being above the windshield made me forget completely about any complaints I had about the units i installed. It was a totally different boat for me.

thanks for this thread. found a cheaper shorter version that will fit
Is this a direct fit for our bolt patterns? I like this, but fon’t want to modify the mount or the deck. Thanks

i wanna assume the answer is a yes. its the same exact part the immyelement used mentioned earlier on this thread. bout to find out if its true but im hoping its a fit as he described

@Sonic Blue I want to get this pedestal for my 250 but Ive got a question for you. Did you have to replace the slider or was it a choice? My seat already has a slider in it so I’m curious if you think the pedestal would bolt directly to the seat?

I didn't replace my slider. Just the pedestal and base.

Good luck.
