Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
One of the switches at the cleanout plug area is stuck in the down position. Maybe I should just replace both of them. I should probably buy spark plugs as well.
Anyone know where to buy parts without spending a fortune.
Yamahasportsplaza.com for parts. Those switches are expensive and you will need to unscrew and pull up the cleanout tray to get at and replace the switches. Don’t forget the nuts too.
I thought the switches were separated to each engine side. The good switch should allow you to crank that side. Check Neutral switch too. jiggle the throttle lever in neutral to be sure.
