Over the weekend I found a mystery bolt in one of the cup holders of my new boat. I have not yet looked around the engine compartment to see if anything appeared to be missing a bolt. Any thoughts on where this may go? It looks just like the one below.

not real familiar with the new boats....anything attached to tower? seems like most tower accessories use those...board racks, tower speakers, flag holders

Good thought, but no. It's bone stock at the moment.
 
its probably a spare when they're assembling your boat, worker usually use the cup to store bolts/screws while they work. Its a common aluminum bolt.
