Yes the snaps on the gas hatch cover are covered by the seadek.

Faux teak light grey over black....nothing darker....as you are in GA...and it would get too hot!

Just to finish this out for future readers who might be wrestling with a Seadek choice....

We went for Faux teak and I really like it. Fresh install for the 2016 season. Wife thinks it looks great! She actually said it makes the boat look expensive, and I have to agree with her, it does have a cool luxury look and feel to it. Very happy.View attachment 34139
And, the dogs happy too!

What is the color? Storm Gray?

Yes storm gray faux teak. We love it. Such a better boating season this year with Seadek. Easier cleanup, no smell from stinky carpets, and it dries so fast you're never standing in wet mushy soaked carpets. Never liked that feeling.

Hey @njmr2fan Great set up! I was wondering about your rear view mirror. Which one is it (make, part, etc) Thanks! Ken

It's actually the free suction cup one from Yamaha that came with the boat. I'll see if there's a company name on it when I'm up in the boat again.

For those in FL or other hot places with strong sun.... Does the Storm Gray get hot? I notice that even the stock carpets can get a little warm from time to time.

It's nearly 100° everytime were out. Our old carpets were blazing hot after being in the sun, not so with our Seadek
