Hmmm, time to sell???

It's the lack of kids! I started with an LS 2000 in 2006, switched to a 2008 SX230 later. Used to go out 20 times a summer during our 3 month window from school. Then the kids go into college, one graduates and has a real job. No more time to boat, lol. The other kid is flying her ass off at Embry Riddle in Florida, and ain't coming home until Christmas. Hell I have a beach house in Ocean City where I keep the boat and haven't been there since April. Bought another home in Fl for the kid to live in (and renters pay down the mortgage) and have spent the summer driving back and forth getting the home furnished. I am half tempted to haul the boat to Fl and keep it there. Then again, I am spoiled by the vast and unused Maryland waterways so can't convince myself to move the boat. The kids grow up, and the boat just doesn't get used anymore. Oh well, off to Vegas Monday for a few days of relaxation, then down to Glendale for some "work" at the IFL Championship Game. Anyone want some tickets for the championship game of a very exciting sport? PM me!

Same situation here. Kids are too busy to boat and so I've been out once this year.

Btw, I officiated the new Arena league here. Fun games to work. May get a chance to do one playoff game.

Everything is life should be centered around water. Buddha....I just made that up! lol

Empty nest time is time to enjoy. You no longer need to entertain your kids you can actually invite adult friends for a day on the water. My wife and I are in the same boat (pun intended). We've been out 5 of the last 8 days. Took today off just to recover. Enjoy your time on the water or off before elderly medical reasons make your decision for you. I'm speaking from experience.
