I don’t usually brag about going to expensive places, but

Not making this up. It just happened.

This is the exact text from Kate (my dear wife) sent this morning:
"Holy shit. I just sent a wire transfer to pay off the boat. 93,884.51 was the payout."

Translation: after paying the leftover balance on the new pilothouse so the bank doesn't get extra 40k or so over next few years in a form of un-deductible loan interests, we are officially broke and officially living paycheck to paycheck!!!:cool::cool:

She's probably shredded my credit card and changed my amazon password, lololol.
I'm clearly using laughter as a defense mechanism here, lol.

Okay - Do I win???? @Ronnie - can you beat that? :D I think I definitely have you all beat! unless we hear from @veedubtek... and some newest adventure of his (- but that's different! lol)

At least now you know you’ll never be homeless. You can always move your family into the pilot house and start a YouTube channel documenting your adventures to pay for the dock fees.

That’s less than I pay at the corner station, and I have to pump it myself.

Yeah, that seemed too good, lol. I actually called the marina to check on it as I thought it was suspicious. No complaints here!

I run my 5.7 toyota on 93, as we trailer often, and I pay $3-3.5/gal at most gas pumps.

Did you get a new boat? There is no way 94k was the payoff on an AR240.

We added a little offshore fishing brute, so the Yammie could be the lake queen.
That 94k was the balance on the new loan, the total for this new boat was a 130k+ but I'm still adding on, lol. Love it though. It's built like a small tank.

I will be saving on cleaning supplies with this new one - hose it off and walk away (she has a cosmetic appeal of an army humvee, lol).

I see plenty of room for SeaDek, maybe some holes you can put in that floor for a beerpong table.

Technically, not. Or, at least not yet.
BUT - this could change - if I manage to lure @Liveto99 to go fishing with me!
It could be like shooting "Jaws, The Prequel", only on steroids! lol.

Seriously, friending @Liveto99 is the closest I've ever come to fish with someone who uses 120 lbs test.

Fuel at my marina, price hasnt changed in a few years. 4.05 a gal. Thats for 93 so not really that bad. I filled up the boat the other day though and the kid working there came down the dock to make sure everything was ok because it was up to $325. He said he js never seen anything go that high. Noob lol

Aren't you too young to drop "My Cousin Vinny" references??? lololol

probably LOL I was 3 when that came out. Pretty sure I had that movie memorized by 8th grade

yeah, not a contest I wanna win either, lol. I was gonna refinance part of it, but have since decided we'll be alright. Crazy to think I just paid more (in cash) for a boat than my first 2 houses combined. And it was an $800 first visit to the fuel dock :depressed:
