I fired me today (as a parent)

It's gonna be a stinky surprise @Wayloncle . A couple of weeks ago while enjoying some Florida beach time our kids picked up a few shells. They obviously wanted to keep them so we put them in a gallon ziplock bag to keep up with them. My daughter decided to open the bag to get one of them out to look at and the smell was horrid. That was only after a few days. Hope that's not the case with your boat.

Kids are grown and gone. Just me the wife and the dog. I must say, I am a bit spoiled. The wife treats me better than I deserve. That said, I enjoy when the kids come around and stir up a little turmoil. Enjoy it while you can.

Dishwasher woes....drives me crazy when my wife will load it up with huge pots and then turn it on.....like a huge pot used to boil corn....would go another day without being put on if ya just wash ONE pot. So i often end up taking them out and washing them...

I take stuff out that my wife puts in there and hand wash it as well. She will put a bowl in it where it is turned up and hold water, I make sure everything won't hold water. She got mad that one of the good wooden spoons was warped, she wouldn't believe me that it was from being in the dishwasher, that's one of the main things I tKe to hand wash.

SAME HERE...I fight that stuff all the time. Takes me 5 times as long to load the dishwasher....It's like real life tetris. Everything holds something in place. I get WAY more in it and they all come out clean and empty.

Since I retired back in 2013 I'm the dishwasher maintainer, the laundry guy, the pool guy, the lawn maintenance guy=Bitchboy!! I don't mind it, it keeps me busy most of the day. I just have to pace myself.... As far as leaving shells from the beach in a zip lock bag, been there!! All the kids are grown up married and hav'in babies now. I enjoy watching the grandkids grow up. Time flies when your having fun!!

Came home today after working late.....which i call: Experience and a half.....to find the door to the beer fridge not shut tight. Heat index of ..alot......all beer warm
