After owning 4 GM trucks - 3 Chevys & 1 GMC - I finally crossed over to Dodge. I ordered my Ram at the end of March and it arrived 5 weeks later.
I can say without a doubt it’s the best truck I have owned. I ordered it with the 3.92 gears and it tows like a dream.
I would say you’re getting some bad info most likely from someone who doesn’t own a Ram or at least the new designed Ram.
Here’s a pic of the Ram pulling the boat out of winter storage the week I brought the truck home. It doesn’t sag.
If you’re seriously considering the Ram and have hesitations over the bad info take the truck out for a test drive. Hook it up to your boat and see for yourself.

After being a long time Toyota Tundra owner, I went to buy a new Chevy and the salesman convinced me to drive the 2019 Ram- I was immediately sold on it and bought it.

I am blown away with the Ram- the ride is incredibly smooth and the cab is quiet. Towed our boat with ease.

The 8 speed with 392”s is no joke behind that 5.7.. it’s got power for days!!

I traded my tundra in on my Ram and couldn't be happier. Don't get me wrong the tundra was a good truck, but I definitely like the ram more. Better ride better mileage better handling and tows the boat better in my opinion. Although I have the EcoDiesel instead of the Hemi

Your gonna love it!!!! DeeZee tail gate assist that was mentioned earlier is the best cheap mod to make. I really like the bakflip bed covers and the bakflip storage box...https://bakflip.com...It's not for everyone, but I added a carpet bed liner...https://bedrug.com/bedliners-and-mats...Not as durable as a spray-in bed liner, but it looks great and I haven't had any issues with it.View attachment 99674

After shopping Fords for several months I decided on the RAM last night. Very tough decision. In the end I found the interior of the Big Horn to be better than the XLT. Not sure if it would've gone the same way if I was looking at Lariat vs Laramie.

Also sold my Tundra for a new Ram. I went to buy a new Chevy Trailboss and the salesman convinced me to drive a 2019 Ram (they sell Chevy and Dodge). One drive and I changed my mind for a Ram. I left that dealer and reached out to our friends who’s family owns a different Dodge dealer and got myself a deal.. MSRP was ~$54k, paid ~$39k.

I've been a chevy fan/owner my whole life. The Ram's are growing on me slowly. Ditching the Mopar transmission and using a ZF sourced unit was a big step for them in my book. The newest gen styling is much nicer as well.
