Ideas to locate chart plotter on 2015 242 ls

Looking to mount a GPS on a 2017 242...... trying to avoid the dash and like mounts on the right side of the dash but want to know if all the specs of the dash as the 2015. No need for the tranducer as I will only be needing the chartplotter.

I ended up mounting my Dragonfly 5M into the coaming besides the dash - works great for me, day or night.

I used a ram mount and came right off the flat spot on the right side of the console.

that looks very nice and clean. Was wondering what size Garmin that is and do you think I could go bigger?

It's a 53DV with a 5" screen. It's the perfect size for us and nestles in just right but you could go bigger if needed.
