I think a better title might be "If he'd only had a BRAIN!"

His problem wasn't bilge pump capacity! His problem was launching his boat from a flat bed tow truck! The angle he launched at forced the stern under water. Basic bilge pumps can't keep up with the volume of water.

I was surprised the guy with the bucket didn't keep at it. It looked like he was making some progress.

Wow, what a dummy. Even with the flatbed, it could have worked out ok if he’d drained the water before backing up more.

Or blocked the trailer tires when it was half inthe water and pulled the tow truck forward some to reduce the angle.

....Maybe if he had an alarm?...

Only of he listened to it....but I think the huge water scoop and submerged engine in the back was distracting him from brain operations...so the alarm may not have been as much help :D

Correct course of action..Alarm while boat is still in the trailer, Boat is sinking while on the trailer!!!!!...nuclear alarm. Mistake Mistake Abort Abort.

But then, we would not have such a cool video.

I don't understand why the bilge pumps were not pumping water.

Bilge wouldn't have mattered once the transom was below water. Just pumping water out that will rush back in, like his one futile attempt with a bucket.

The wise Forest Gump said it best...
