Jeff - Is there a hole in the bearing cup (where bearing and seals are) for grease to flow through? I was my understanding there was not a hole there. TY
It does not look like a sealed bearing to me, remember I see people posting pictures of the grease blowing out of the drive shaft seals , when you grease a wheel bearing it has a vent if you over grease it to avoid damaging the seals here if you add gear lube to it via a syringe and by removing the grease fitting to add it there is no pressure unless you push the syringe tight against the opening,, I also posted how you can check the condition of the grease by removing the fitting and using a piece of line from a weed whacker as a probe to inspect it.
