Gotcha. That wont work then.
Your transducer bracket location should be mounted on the fiberglass transom further away from the nozzle. Too much turbulence near the ride plate. I am sure someone will chime in on the best spot to mount.

What about replacing the stuff that’s already there with this unit?

Already There: Hummingbird depth finder
New Unit: Simrad Cruise 7
