My boat is stored on a boatlift. Salt water environment. When I put in my boat lift, it was suggested I use an isolator (rubber) between the bolt that holds the bottom of the boards and the bolt. After 13 years the PT wood has not degraded much like the trailer did, which did not have isolation. The boatlift isolator (red rubber, 3/16" thick) appears dry rotted now and I'll replace with heavy hose section over the bolt.
