Hi,

I have 2005 Yamaha VX 110. The battery went dead over winter. I have a jump starter. I connected it but I get no power to the jet ski. I put a new battery in the remote start but still nothing. Any idea why it is not getting power?

Thanks in advance.

Any kill switches?
Lanyard switch bad?

Most of these cool, new jump starters won't send power if the battery is stone dead. I know the one I use most has a tiny button I have to use a pen to press to bypass this safety feature. I believe it is designed to do a polarity test, so you can't jump it backwards. With 0 voltage, it doesn't know. Just a thought

The lanyard worked when I used it last (last year) no other kill switches. checked all fuses. It just does not seem to get power from the battery terminals. I did not know if I actually need to put a battery in or if the jump starter box or another 12 battery (car battery should at least give power) which it did not.
