@JetBoatPilot Based on your pictures it looks like the thrusters will work with the Cobra Jet Fins but not the Fangs. Can you confirm or deny this? This is a picture of my boat and it looks like it will fit but looks can be deceiving.

@Pullen724 our unofficial position at the moment is that the Lateral Thruster will be compatible with the Thrust Vector XV but will not be compatible with other fin systems. The reasoning for this will be detailed in a video we will produce later today or tomorrow, but the basics are as follows. We don't have the time or resources available to make them compatible with other fin systems and more importantly we don't want to get involved in a situation where our product is connected to another aftermarket product which remains in the water at high speeds. Our position has, and always will be "less stress is best" when it comes to our Thrust Vector fins. We don't allow them to be down in the flow at high speeds for a reason. We believe that if our Lateral Thruster is connected to a device which remains in the water at high speeds, and, if a submerged object strike occurs, no one will be able to determine which product is at fault. It makes our jobs much easier to make a clear statement up front that we will not warranty any Lateral Thruster that has been installed on a boat with another fin system and we will not be held liable in the event of a failure to that boat's jet pump system.

I am sure that our attorney will make this all sound much more official but that is my unofficial position on it as we stand today.

I will always maintain that finless is the way to go!!! But, that little gadget looks pretty slick. I wouldn't be surprised if Mother Yamaha offers you something for that invention to add to their production models.

Thanks @BigN8 we hope so too. It would be cool to get to work with Yamaha, which contrary to popular opinion, we've never worked directly with them or supplied parts to them. Exception once being asked to film video for the 2012 launch of the new 21 foot and 19 foot hulls.
