I ordered a jl M3 10 IB thinking about changing to a sealed or ported sub box any input would be appreciated before I cut a 10 inch hole in my new toy lol
I personally think it sounds better in a sealed Box I think the bass is deeper and you can feel it in the boat a little more.20170128_145532.jpg20170128_145537.jpg
 
You can pick up a sealed Box pretty cheap and if you don't like the sound then you can get into cutting holes I kind of did the opposite I mounted on the seat base wall before I decided to put him in a Box.
