July 4th plans North Carolina

What’s the story at Kerr? I’d be down.

Satterwhite will be having fireworks. We’ll be up near Clarksville and likely won’t make it to Satterwhite that evening

Fireworks at Clarksville?

Not until Lakefest, later in July?.

Yes.. we were gonna do hyco for the first time but it's like two hours away from us and on the 5th we are going to myrtle beach with the boat for a long weekend.... so we were thinking Kerr instead. We know Kerr very well. Once the fireworks are over we will have to navigate the lake from clarksville to nut Bush in henderson... the entire length of the lake in the dark.. !. I am comfortable with it due to how many times I have been on the lake and how many miles my chartplotter as on record with us going back and forth but it will be slow and take a little time. There are places closer to clarksville to put in but I am not familiar with them.

These are just the ramblings of some old dude who has been working on his boat way too much and not enjoying it.... nothing is set in stone yet.. just seeing what the interest would be.

Good catch. Some how I missed they’d be on the 6th v 4th. ?

Hyco is little far for me. Havent decided what we are doing for that day/weekend yet.

My mom lives about 30min from norman but talked about going to her cabin at lake lure... they dont allow boats larger then 20ft in lake lure.

Might do hartwell for 4th or 5th of july.
