Love the look of your deck material is it see deck or aquamarine deck?
Somehow when the kids borrowed the boat, they lost the main center piece (the largest section). How do you lose carpet anyway⁉
(if you tow the boat without a cover on and the carpet in, the wind can pull up the carpet. ask me how I know.)
Yeah. Dead body, definitely.
I would love to hear the story of how they lost the carpet, that piece is huge! BTW, where are you in Kentucky? I'm from Owensboro but live near Knoxville, TN.Somehow when the kids borrowed the boat, they lost the main center piece (the largest section). How do you lose carpet anyway⁉
Carpet isn’t in good shape and missing someWhat are your plans with the carpet set?
Exactly how mine went down. Buttons pulled through the carpet. Was fine until I got on the highway and apparently hit some wind just right or something...weird, I’ve towed a ton like this with no issues. Half my buttons have pulled through the carpet too
LolThe fact they thought they could get away with this says a lot....
But I would go with they wrapped a dead body in it.
Well, the truth be known. Traveling down the highway with it snapped in. They weren't too happy when I told them the replacement cost of a new set, especially since they're only sold as a complete set from Yamaha. To make matters worse, Yamaha no longer sells the berber carpet for the 2012 242 Limited S. What's available now looks exactly what they started to fit the 2013 model year with, a teak style carpet, not happy with that option. Truly enjoyed the feel of the original berber. We're located near Florence, Erlanger, Independence area. Every year for two weeks since our first boat purchase in '96, we've been boating in your neck of the woods (TN.), just north of ya', Rocky Top (formerly Lake City). Norris Lake sets the "Standard" on all the other lakes we visit, not many come close to comparison.I would love to hear the story of how they lost the carpet, that piece is huge! Norris is amazing, big, clean and clear it is one of our favorites that and Dale Hollow. I boat on Tellico lake, where Yamaha's are made, it's very nice just a step or two below Norris.Well, the truth be known. Traveling down the highway with it snapped in.
