Hi guys, I really like the interior of the new boat. I'm coming from a 2007 AR230 (which I sold in 1 day!). My 242 feels slower and much less sporty than my 2007. I was surprised considering the bigger engines and only about a 700 lb difference in weight. Has anyone else made a similar move? 242.jpg

My 2014 242LS seemed sportier than my current 2018 242LSE. The 14’ definitely jumped up on plane faster. Never felt like a difference in horsepower, more like a difference in hull design. The 14’ would plane at lower speed than the ‘18.
