Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
Seriously I’ve looked at inflatable vests before but not to deeply. do they come in a non inflatable / foam variant So you can avoid the need to inflating, buying cartridges or a compressor and possible leaks?
Maybe I should start a separate thread because I and am sure some other guys here have the opposite/lower problem of trying to find a vest to fit over our mid sections (that were once six packs but now more closely resemble kegs) without the top of the vest looking to big/feeling loose. i assume this is not a problem if a guy also has Moobs (man boobs), thankfully the latter is not my problem, yet.
@octavio3311 , here is a reference photo for you (I doubt you will see this on the chive site). I should have stopped at 1/32 because now I’m all but blind, my minds eye looks like charcoal.

You may wish to check on regulations in your area. IIRC, in WI, I seem to remember my FIL stating that only one person would be counted, meaning everyone could be wearing those, but that only one of those would count towards the total and there would need to be another PFD on board for each additional person. Those were far more comfortable to fish in though, so it wasn't a big deal, and he's been gone 5 years, so regs may have changed on that in the meantime. Guess I should check too.
@chicken4747 the auto inflating are probably a great USCG approved vest for swimming you might consider a ski/flotation belt and keep the girls out of it.
