LET THE DRILLING BEGIN

If you think drilling a hole is rough, try cutting out an entire panel.

Neighbhor that was helping finally said "Quit goofing around and give me that cutter" and plunge cut right in the center of the panel. I had measured like 14 times and masked twice and was ready to cut, but couldn't bring myself to make the first mark in the PRISTINE gelcoat of my brand new boat.

Today was the day. I woke up this morning with big coconuts. I’m sure @HangOutdoors will enjoy this

What are you using for a door?
 
Just need to clean up and hookup the wiring

Nice job.

I use hole saws for this application all the time. Works great. There is always a rim on the devices that covers up any nicks (but never had any).

That’s what I used. I got a couple Morse holesaws from McMaster. Alarms fit perfectly, not loose. Thanks for the kind words.
