Hello everyone. After a few months hiatus from that other forum and a very delayed joining of this awesome forum, I am here, finally. What a long winter it has been.

I read through the 5 pages of this thread and see some awesome work. I will have to agree with those singing @Williamsone46 praises as he created a ton of the silhouettes last year and his work is awesome.

Personally, I prefer the boat silhouettes or other graphics over the "text heavy" logos.... I think they are all very nice, but personally, I would rather have an image on the back of my truck than a stylized web addy. Just my .02 cents.

All that being said, I would be happy to supply the 242LS silhouette for use as the site logo if it is chosen. Let me know if I can help in any other way as well.

Oh, and another forum I frequent on exotic cars has a stylized supercar as its logo and they incorporated the forum name.com underneath it. Then, you could customize a 2nd good spot for text by adding your user name if desired. Made for some pretty cool decals. Just an idea.

I thought the majority of people agreed that the line-art styles with smaller lettering was the preferred. The one I'm seeing is almost all lettering and a small non-boat-looking logo. The logo voting thread is locked so I replied here.

Also, is the large "JB" in the logo a nod to Julian and Bruce?

The winning logo was voted for by 86 members giving it a substantial lead over the others.

I believe the "JB" stands for JetBoaters.

And not to worry Mark...we are not locked in to this logo forever. And nothing says we can also have some line art pieces to use. You can literally do anything you want and use the URL. But for a forum banner and a logo to offer directly, we had the contest to select a member favorite for now.

I didn't mean to kick a dead horse.... I read this thread without reading the other voting thread and posted my response before I realized the logo was complete. I like it!

I only jumped in because someone sent me a message on the other forum asking for me to submit my drawing which I was willing to oblige. Let me know when the decals are ready and I'll order one.
